Landscape Maintenance

Masterful Maintenance
quarterly shrub & ornamental care

Our Shrub & Ornamental Master Program is a detailed annual plan that focuses on the care of specific plants, shrubs, perennials and small trees across four quarterly visits. It is designed for those who don't need year-round, whole garden care, but whose gardens would benefit from expert attention and maintenance a few times per year.

Our garden specialist will review the plant material on your property, evaluate overall health and environmental conditions, and make recommendations for pruning, thinning, limbing, plucking, cutting back, fertilizing, and spraying to satisfy seasonal needs. Our quarterly visits can rejuvenate struggling plants while keeping healthy plants on track for optimal growth.

Our plan will be presented with quarterly itemization. You may tailor the plan to include additional items as your gardens grow, omit items you do not care to include, or focus on specific, prized plants (like a boxwood hedge).

A sample itemized plan is detailed below. Contact us today to get your own master plan!

Additional Info

Pests common to the area include leaf miner, mites, scale, spider mites, powdery mildew, aphids, lace bug, thrips, and whiteflies. Pests are typically attracted to plants that are already stressed. If pests are seen in small numbers, beneficial predators may reduce population without  intervention. Horticultural oil is a non-toxic pesticide effective for aphids, mites, scale, spider mites, thrips, and whiteflies by suffocating the pests and disrupting their eggs. It is also effective against powdery mildew and can help prevent bacterial and viral disease spread. It can be used to provide protection for overwintering.   Compost tea is produced in-house using plant-based compost and earthworm castings and is brewed for 24 hours prior to its application. As a soil drench: boosts beneficial microorganisms in the soil. As a foliar spray: prevents pest infestations on leaves and branches. Application is timed in accordance with weather conditions. Additional Notes: - To prevent potential cross contamination, our tools are sterilized before and following each visit. Diseased debris is isolated and disposed of per industry standard. - Program pricing is all-inclusive and includes materials, soil amendments, sprays, and soil testing as listed. If additional treatment or testing is required that is not covered by our program, we will contact you for approval. - All debris is removed and transported to our facility for composting.
